Dance passion starting as a child
Mélody started dancing at the age of 3, as a jazz baby dancer for 5 years, then when she reached primary school she discovered a passion for hiphop and break dancing, unfortunately at that time these dances were not really developed in France and particularly in the Alpes Maritimes region, his learning was done through videos and correspondence courses from the USA. Then she was able to do workshops at college as a student project leader to teach and organize inter-school shows.
At the age of 15, she discovered ballroom dancing, and it was a true revelation and the beginning of a new artistic journey.
Passionate about dancing at two, she discovered Latin dances, chacha, rumba, paso doble, samba, jive and standard dances, slow waltz, Viennese waltz, solw fox, quick step, tango, but also Caribbean salsa dances. , and bachata.
Experiences dance work
Thus, she began an agonistic journey in sports dance, to train for competitions, and become a high-level athlete. At mature age, she was able to train in teaching social dances and obtain the first diplomas to teach in various dance schools. Subsequently, she finalized her dream of opening her own dance school which was called "Méli Mélo Dance". All dances for two were taught there, for all age groups, including children, adolescents, adults and seniors.
A new objective was launched, which was to introduce the competition to her students, so she followed new training to become a competition judge and brought the different age groups from her school to discover the competition.
Choice dance life career
Then, a desire to resume her career as a dancer arose, a choice had to be made, between continuing to teach her students, according to her experience, or moving to learn more. She made the choice to relaunch her career as a dancer, and postpone her teaching career until later. Then she joined a dance company, and dancer agencies for artistic clips.
Back to square one
This is how, today, between travel and moving, she is relaunching her teaching through online courses and workshops, to share her experience and learning with you.
The goal is to help you progress on lady attitude in BACHATA, different technical courses to learn body movement, basic step, ritmic, and choreographies over 30 seconds to 1min, explained in every detail. Practical training on each video, which lasts 1 hour.
Each week, 2 1-hour videos will be added, one on the theme of technique and one on the theme of choreography. One live per month will be organized to answer your questions and also repeat or learn a movement. A sort of meeting to allow you to meet the whole team, and talk about various new developments around dance.
In the future, there will be Latin lady heels and also other dances to help you discover other ritmics, which in the end is very close to bachata.
